Constructed of gilded bronze, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse bearing a central crowned monogram of Prince Adolph, the arms bearing a raised inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE 1914 (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE 1914), the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36. 52 mm (w) x 36. 76 mm (h), weighing
