ATM is one of the primary contractors for Mechanical General Maintenance during the general shutdown at the DOW Portugal factory in Estarreja, which took place in the months of January and February 2022. Dow Portugal is a subsidiary of Dow, with a presence in the country for over 40 years. Headquartered in Estarreja, it produces MDI (methyl diphenyl diisocyanate), a critical raw material for polyurethane production.
ATM was responsible for eleven areas of the factory, involving the prefabrication of pipes and supports in their Barreiro workshops for subsequent installation, as well as technical intervention on various production equipment at the factory.
This contract is recognition of ATM's competence and professionalism, demonstrated in the last two general shutdowns in which ATM participated.
